Refund Policy

Anchor State Windows & Doors LLC – Refund Policy
Effective Date: November 15, 2025

Anchor State Windows & Doors LLC (“we,” “us”) provides this Refund Policy in full compliance with Rhode Island consumer protection laws (RI Gen L § 6-13.1), UCC § 2-601, and FTC guidelines. All refund decisions are made fairly, transparently, and in good faith.

1. Payment Structure

Payments are structured as follows: 30% deposit upon signing, 40% progress payment upon delivery of materials, and final 30% payment upon completion and client approval. Accepted methods include cash, check, ACH, credit card (3% processing fee), or Hearth Financing.

2. Refund Eligibility

  • Cancellation BEFORE materials are ordered: Full 30% deposit refunded minus a $250 administrative fee.

  • Cancellation AFTER materials are ordered: The 30% deposit and any 40% progress payment already made are non-refundable due to custom fabrication.

  • Cancellation AFTER installation begins: No refund — all payments are final as work is completed per contract.

  • Defective materials (manufacturer fault): Full replacement or credit for materials only; labor is not refunded.

  • Our error (incorrect size, color, or model): Full refund of all payments or free re-installation at our expense.

  • Client change of mind after order placement: No refund — materials are custom and non-returnable.

3. Refund Process

Submit a written refund request to AnchorStateWindowsDoors@Gmail.Com within 7 calendar days of the issue. Include your warranty number, photos (if applicable), and reason for the request. We will respond within 3 business days.

Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. (If applicable with order number).

4. Non-Refundable Items

Custom-ordered materials (Pella, Andersen, Marvin, Milgard, etc.), permit fees, disposal fees, staging rentals, and any labor already performed are non-refundable. Financing fees are managed directly by Hearth and follow their policy.

5. Dispute Resolution

All disputes are governed by Rhode Island law. We encourage direct contact first — we resolve over 98% of concerns amicably.
